The Susan Wehle Memorial Award

This award is intended to honor a young person (under 35 years old) in the great Buffalo, NY area who is making a substantial commitment to cross-cultural dialogue and coexistence. Susan was a leader in the interfaith movement in Buffalo and this award recognizes those individuals working to carry on her legacy. Susan viewed every individual for the person they are regardless of culture, religion, race or belief and honored the shared humanity between us all. Wherever there was an opportunity for healing between peoples, Susan led the way.
